I am writing this post after a beautiful early morning meditation at a small park looking out over the ocean as the lobster boats went out to sea and the lighthouse sounded warnings of distant fog.  I came here to write a letter to a dear friend who is turning 99 this fall.  She's been on my mind for quite sometime and I felt compelled to write my letter near the sea because it is one of her joyous memories of raising her family at their summer cottage on an island not far from where I am sitting.  I love her stories of being a mother and the adventures they experienced  together.

My hope is that my letter will cheer her up after some difficulties in the past year that make her more sad than usual.  I want her to know how much our friendship has met to me and that I see that seeds she sowed in her kids childhood now are bearing beautiful fruit.

I also want her to know the seeds she planted in me that have made a difference in my life, especially those of patience, silence, and kindness.

I hope everyone finds a little time and space to meditate and concentrate on a special person and the fruits of the Holy of Spirit this week and begin to write their thoughts.  It is amazing how calming and prayerful this time can be.

For those who couldn't make our first meeting I can materials to you.  Meaghan I want to mail you a package.  Where should I send it?  Tracy & Bonnie  could we meet up to get your materials.  You can all text me.

Many Blessings to you all.
Much Love,
Nancy
